Learning and Reading Difficulties

  • Dyslexia is a language processing defect rather than a visual system defect. Eye therapy/Training techniques do not assist with language processing.

  • Early identification and intervention is required in children with reading difficulties so that they can "read to learn " otherwise it will become a lifelong barrier to learning.

  • All children with Learning/Reading difficulties need an accurate eye and hearing test to ensure there are no problems.
